About me

21 years old.photo-1121

Currently a year away from receiving my B.S. in Exercise Science. Yay!

This upcoming spring semester I will be working in an exercise physiology lab where I will be evaluating individual’s fitness level and prescribing exercise.

Upon graduating, I plan on receiving several certifications to become a highly qualified personal trainer.  I am also deciding between two choices:
1) Enrolling into a physical therapy program
2)Getting my masters in exercise science, followed by my PhD abroad.

My role models who I personally find inspiring are my mentors and professors, Dr. Lenny Kravitz, Dr. Robert Robergs, Dr. Ginny Wilmerding, LA Gym Owner Jackie Warner, Celebrity fitness guru Jillian Michaels, and the the Ageless wonders: Kelly Nelson, Bob Delmonteque and Clarence Bass and last, but not least, my own father, who taught me the importance of health, overall wellnes, and being active from an early age.

I have started this blog to be a place:
1) of inspiration for others and share what/who inspires me.
2)to track my progression to a more healthier me.
3)as a way to stay accountable for what I do (or do not do…) and what I eat.

With that said, here is the disclaimer: I am an exercise science student who is NOT yet certified or has a degree, and in my internship, my evaluations and prescriptions for clients will be supervised.  I am in no position to give advice. Everything in this blog are personal “journal” entries of what I am currently doing.  It is recommended by fitness professionals to visit your doctor first if you are interested in beginning an exercise program or diet plan.
